Clubhouse redevelopment

These continue to be exciting times in the development of our club.

The Board of Directors are committed to improving facilities on and off the course for members and guests.

Following the recent refurbishment of the first floor of the clubhouse and the general office move on the ground floor (to be completed March 2018), we will be implementing the next phase of the clubhouse redevelopment - a new pitched roof, insulating external cladding and replacement windows.

The current plan is outlined along with supporting graphics and plans.

Target dates:

  • March 2018 planning application submitted
  • May 2018 planning permission granted (we are advised plans are non-contentious)
  • June - Oct  2018 tendering process
  • End of 2018 building works commence
  • Early April 2019 building works complete

The clubhouse refurbishment will be in two phases:

Phase 1. External work - roof/insulating cladding/windows/cosmetics.

Phase 2.  Ground Floor Internal Work - new men’s and ladies changing rooms, golf studio, office space.

Phase 1 funding is available from the sale of the Humber Bridge land. Phase 2 will be subject to receiving external grant funding which the Board is currently exploring.

All decisions will be put to members for discussion and approval as and when appropriate.
