Hessle Professional Grahame Fieldsend and amateur Andrew Challis are the Regional Champions of the National Pro-Am Championship held at Fulford on 25^th June. The Championship is a Better Ball competition over the Par 72 course at Fulford. Grahame and Andrew returned a score of 11 under par, 61, winning by 3 shots.  Their start was steady with 3 pars over the first three holes but this was followed by 1 eagle, 1 par and 4 birdies over the next 6 holes. The back 9 started with a 2 followed by 3 pars and then another 2 followed by another 3 birdies in the last 4 holes. Grahame commented that he and Andrew and fitted in very well together over the round and had putted well on the superb Fulford greens. Grahame and Andrew now go forward to the finals to be held in Turkey between 30th November and 4th December.  We wish them well for their trip and hope that they will be equally successful there.
